Gross

This weekend was one that dreams are made of. I did pretty much nothing, unless you call a midday nap “something”, as that is what I did on Saturday. But Greg’s mom is in town as well, so basically what that means is homemade meal goodness all weekend!

On Sunday, Greg and I decided to be slightly less lazy and we went to Tre Mari bakery. A trip to Tre Mari almost never ends without a cappuccino and some sort of treat, so Greg got a cannoli and I got a zeppole. We ran a few other errands and came back home with bread and dessert for dinner.

As I mentioned in a previous post, this year has been a bit of a jerk to me. The cold/cough/sort throat garbage has been the worst. As of the last couple of days, my post nasal drip has been causing the most awful taste in my mouth and smell in my nose. Like just unbearable. I gargled some warm salt water and blew the fuck out of my nose until the awfulness came out. It’s still there
slightly but that awful taste and smell has gone way done. In out travels today, we stopped by shoppers drugmart so I bought some Tylenol cold and flu. I just popped a couple of the night time pills-hopefully it helps. I’m at Greg’s place or else if have blasted the fuck outta this shit with my netipot ad well.

Anyhow, me luck…

  • OMG! You still blog! I thought about you and this blog, but thought you might have given it up since the transplant. I'm glad to see you are still doing well (despite this whole nose/throat situation). I'm also glad to see you and Greg are still doing well relationship wise. I'm so happy for you! You deserve all of the good luck and fortune. It's inspiring to see all of your perseverance payoff. Lots of love and hugs :) TTYL!
